A 4 DAY PRIVATE SAFARI ITINERARY TO LAKE MBURO WILDLIFE SAFARIS AND BWINDI MOUNTAIN GORILLA NATIONAL PARK TOURS
Day 1
Depart for Lake Mburo National Park early morning with your guide for a scenic drive through the extension of the Tanzanian plains with a variety of attractions. You will have a stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, stand at the Equator for a photographic opportunity and also listen to some few interesting facts. We will continue to Lake Mburo National Park. Have a stop over for lunch and then continue with a game drive en-route in search of zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala and birds. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and then set out for an afternoon boat ride on the lake.
Overnight at Mantana tented camp/Mihingo lodge (high end) or Rwonyo camp (Budget)
Day 2
An early start – a wonderful chance to take a guided nature walk. This walk takes you to the Salt Lick Area. A strategically located wooden observation point which offers a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick the salty soil. Return to the camp for breakfast, and then head through the highlands to Kabale, where we will stop for lunch. Continue on your journey, with excellent views of the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo, to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3
Wake up Early morning to the sounds of the rain forest for a hearty breakfast. After a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the thick creepers and undergrowth of the dense rain forest to track the endangered mammals. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense with numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.
Have an amazing experience watching and photographing the gorillas in the forest, listening to them marvel and grumble to each other. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful creatures left, which is allowed for only 1 hour!

Day 4
After breakfast, we will return back to Kampala stopping en-route for lunch arriving in the early evening. END OF UGANDA SAFARI.
