KIBALE CHIMPANZEE SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1 : Kampala - Kibale Chimpanzee Forest
You will depart with your safari guide for a half day drive west via Mubende to Kibale National park, passing though verdant countryside, traditional homesteads and farms. The scenic drive takes you past the fabulous "Mountains of the Moon,” have a stop over at Fort portal town for lunch, andcontinue to the lodge. After check-in, have the afternoon off relaxing.
Overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Rwenzori View Guest house (Midrange) or Kanyankyu ecological centre (Budget)
Day 2 Chimpanzee Trackimg in Kibale Forest
After Breakfast, report to the ranger station at 08.00 am to track habituated chimps. Start the search for chimpanzees and other primates is including Red-Colobus, Blues, phoestes, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabey and birds, butterflies and many other small insects. Have a wonderful experience viewing other mammals including smaller elephants, giant forest hog, buffalo, and antelope species. The guide will provide detailed explanations, ensuring that your walk is both informative and enjoyable.
Overnight at a luxurious Ndali Lodge/Mid range Rwenzori View Guest house/Budget Kanyankyu Ecological site. (FB)
Day 3 Return Trip to Kampala
After Breakfast, depart to Kampala, arriving in the early evening. Otherwise, transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
